Schools open or closed on LI tomorrow?
Sorry if this has been posted before. Where can I look tonight to see if the schools in my area will be closed or open tomorrow? My dd's preschool goes on the schedule of the local schools and I need to know if she is going in or not.

News 12 and WALK posts closings.
I got the call that our district is closed (Sayville). Pat Med, Longwood and East Islip are also closed from what I have been told.

A lot of Suffolk schools are closed! I am bummed because I live in Suffolk and teach in Nassau. I am sure my district will be open!

We're in Nassau and no infor on the website. I assume we're a go for tomorrow. I need DS to be in school, since I still have a lot of errands to run!

Same here. I need them to be open for so many reasons but mainly errands related to the holidays and my sanity

Same here. I'll be white knuckling it most of the way.
Especially since our supt. is from Buffalo and he still commutes every weekend back to Buffalo.
I'm sure he's  at this snow.

Yeah - nothing about Nassau being closed. I work for an agency and they refuse to close even when the districts close. Last year they were on the fence about closing when we had a state of emergency, and finally agreed under duress to close! We can't even service children if their district is closed!!!!

Hempstead Sd is closed and Garden City has a twio hour delay. I wonder if any other nassau schools will be affected.

As of right now, Northport is on a 2 hour delay and there is no Kindergarten.
My DS goes to Pre-K in Commack and yet his school is open as of now 
Not quite sure I'll be sending him.
