Sciatic Nerve
Did anyone have issues with their sciatic nerve after delivery. Everyday when I walk I get a shooting pain down myside and leg that stops me from walking. One of the nurses said it was my sciatic nerve. I didnt have it while pregnant..why would i have it now..Dh said it may be an after effect of the epidural...

I had it while I was pregnant. Did you deliver naturally? I dont think it is from the epidural, after effects are rare. I delivered naturally and had muscle spasms in my back for about a month or so after birth. I thought it was from the epidural also. Think about what your body goes through when you are pushing that baby out. I know I used muscles I never even knew I had

I had it about 2 weeks after DD was born and boy did it hurt,....it lasted a couple of weeks. Doc said it was because my uterus was going back to its normal size / place and that sometimes happens. Nothing I could do only some yoga poses helped.

I had a c-section. My OB is sending me to a neurologist since my right leg is giving out. SO scared I'm going to drop the baby.
