Sciatica Pain
I am only thirteen weeks and have been having this sciatica in my left buttocks radiating down my leg. It prevents me from sitting on the floor and sometimes slows down my walking. Quite painful. Anyone else have this pain so early on? Dr. claims its normal??? Go figure.

I have it horribly, started around 8-9 wks. Now I am 22 wks and still have it. Sometimes it is so bad when I go to get up my leg will give in or collapse, other times if I am standing at my sink doing dishes and bend over to put dishes in the dishwasher I get a shock of pain that seems like someone is stabbing me in my a** cheek. A hot heating pad helps me at night and DH rubs my butt for me.

I am experiencing this also this week. (12w4d) It is intense. It is keeping me from sleeping. I actually called my Dr to see if I can go to my chiropractor.

I have had it off and on. Really the only thing that helps it is walking it off. I hobble in the streets with it sometimes

when I get this, I lie on the floor and have DH pull on the leg that the pain is on. (my right)

See, I had this too and I thought it was Sciatica pain but its not.
I went to a active release doc, kind of like a chiropractor. It was a knot in my butt area..my right buttock and its from sitting too long and how you are sitting.
It makes your pelvis out of whack...which happens to me cause I sit Indian style..alot.
I was treated and it worked but I know I will be back...Felt it the other day.
Pregnancy dosent make it any better.

I had it bad. I went for a prenatal massage and that made it feel better!

I have the same problem and DH does the same thing every night

What did your dr. say? Can you go to a chiropractor? The pain has been horrible for me the last few days. Sometimes I even go to get up off the couch and I get stuck bent over b/c of the sciatica pain.

I had this right from the beginning. My doc recommended a chiropractor and she saved my life! I go 2-3 times a week and when I miss an appt I cannot walk! There are a lot of stretches and things you can do to ease the pain. FM me for more info if you would like.
