Science Fair
Does your school do it? We do it for grades 1-5 in the elementary school but it is only manditory for grades 4 & 5. I kind of assumed we all do it and would maybe want to share our ideas.
Last year we did: Does mold grow faster on different types of bread.
This year DH and Jordan have decided to do: Which metals corrode faster.
Some friends have done: Do plants grow faster indoors or outdoor? Does hair grow faster in winter or summer?
That's all I can think of right now

Re: Science Fair
One year I tested if different waters made plants grow faster than others. I lived OOS so we used that tap water, my grandmother sent me 2 big jugs of tap water from Brooklyn and then we used distilled water and one other kind that I'm blanking on right now.
The next year I tested to see if a fish's environment had any impact on their behavior. One goldfish was in a tank that only had a filter and white gravel, the other had a filter, plants, things to swim/hide in, colored gravel.

Re: Science Fair
DD is in 1st and they are only doing it in the school Quest programs which she's in. Quest is the honors program here.
We just had our school meeting on the upcoming science fair. Today after school we are going to decide what to do. We are all looking forward to it.
good luck to your DC.
