S*cking on upper lip
Jeremy (11 weeks) just starting s*ucking on his upper lip. I am BF him and occasionally supplementing with expressed BM or formula. Is this normal? DH and I are worried since this just started today.

I would say normal. Joseph & Maddie used to "eat" in their sleep too.

Thank you. He is doing it more when he is awake than sleeping though. He makes a really loud sucking noise too. I have tried to nurse him more thinking he is hungry. He also sucks on his hands. Could he just be trying out something new? When he does it, his whole upper lip goes into his mouth!

Katie does it all the time, I attributed it to teething bc I was only able to BF her for a short time.

Could be! Katie started teething at 2 months!! She cute her first 2 teeth at 4 mos.

Jordana does this all the time and she is 7 months old. She "sucks" even if there is no pacifier, bottle or nipple in her mouth. I think it is totally normally.
