Scrapbookers Please Come In...
My neice just turned 11 and her new thing is scrapbooking. I have no idea what goes into this hobby, but I want to her her a bunch of scrapbooking stuff for xmas.... I'm tired of buying her clothes and she's old enough where she wants to pick them out herself.
So here's my question... where do i start? What do i get? Is there a website I can get things from?
Thanks!

I buy some stuff from this site Lifetime Moments though it might be confusing if you're not a scrapbooker yourself. Your best bet might be to go to Michael's or AC Moore and ask someone in the department for help. I like the selection at AC Moore best. You might want to consider an assortment of papers, stickers other decorative embellishments like Jolee stickers, etc. Or maybe just a gift card so she can choose what she likes.

Re: Scrapbookers Please Come In...
For a kid new to scrapbooking, things like scissors with decorative edges are great, maybe a Sizzix machine (which can be on the costly side if not on sale). There are so many things a kid would love!!!!
And what about a scapbooking magazine subscription for ideas for her!! DH got me that one year & I loved it at 29!!

There are a million websites, but if she is just starting, try AC moore, they have various "sets" that usually include different patterned paper and solid papers, ribbon, embelishments that coordinate, you could add a pair of nice scissors, a trimmer or some adhesives and she would be good to go!

punches to make shapes of various sizes, alphabet stickers, patterned paper, "blocks" of paper in various sizes, acid free pens, adhesive. You may want to yind out if she likes to use a specific size book, before buying paper or albums.
