Scrapbooking help
I have never made a scrapbook before but my grandmother passed away in May and I wanted to take her recipes and make a scrapbook for all of my cousins.
I just bought an entire Scrapbook kit from Lakeside.com. It looks like it has everything that I need - I'm just not sure how to start.
Also, do I type up the recipes on the paper? Do I type them on regular paper and stick them on? I'm just pretty clueless at this point.
I would like to find some good Grandmother poems to include.
Any tips at all will be greatly appreciated! Or - if I can see samples that would really help too!
Thank you so much!

2 ideas: You could put the recipes on cards and make pages that include a slot for a card. Then decorate both the page and the card.
the other idea I like is that anytime I have a lot of printed text to go on a page, I write it in word and print it from my PC on a sheet of velum paper then cut to the size I need for my page. With velum paper, you can still see the design of any paper under it.

Re: Scrapbooking help
My offer stands to get together for this!
Here are some poems I found:
A grandmother has ears that truly listen, Arms that always hold, Love that's never ending, and a heart made of Gold.
A grandmother is someone who's dear in every way. Her smile is like the sunshine that brightens each new day. A grandma is someone who plays a special part In all the treasured memories we hold within our heart.
She's the hug that chases the world away. The sweet scent of childhood that never fades. She's the word of wisdom, a knowing glance, Tender understanding, a second- and third chance. She always sees the wonderful in you, Her love never-ending, ever-present, ever true. No matter what may come, no matter what may be, In my grandmother's heart I know I'll always be.
What could be more precious thana grandmother's special love She always seems to know the things that I am fondest of She's always ready with a smile or a loving word of praise Her laughter always brightens up the cloudiest of days She has an understanding heart that encourages and cheers The love she gives so freely will grow deeper with the years Her wisdom and devotion are blessings from above nothing could be more precious than a grandmothers special love.
Anyone is truly blessed Who knows the happiness and love we share. No matter what we do or say, You always love us anyway, and care. Throughout our lives, through all our days, We will remember all the ways You made us laugh, and dried our tears; The special bond that spans the years. You ease our way, you help us grow. Thank you, and always know We love you. Time, which changes people, does not alter the image we have retained of them. --Marcel Proust
