Scratched sunglass lens
One of my favorite pairs of Gucci sunglasses has two small scratches in one of the lenses. Is there any way to fix it?? They are from a few years ago and I don't know if they sell them anymore
I tried rubbing it out with a microfiber cloth but I guess it was too deep since it didn't really help.
Anyone have any suggestions?? I am desperate!!!!! I LOVE these glasses!! TIA

Re: Scratched sunglass lens
I'm not sure it will work with sunglasses (If the lens is tinted complete through it should), but a science teacher once showed us how to take scratches out of watches and eyeglasses. Softscrub - the abrasive element sands down the rest of the glass around the scratch - I think for deeper scratches he used brillo first than softscrub to buff it out. I have never done it on something myself, but it did work with a watch in class. Not sure if you want to try it on a good pair of sunglasses.
You could also bring them to lenscrafters and just get new lenses put in.

Re: Scratched sunglass lens
I believe that retailers of eyeglasses have ways to remove surface scratches. I hate the fact that expensive sunglasses are not all treated to be scratch resistant.
