Sea grass
Can I, and how do I trim it so that it still looks good? I have one of the zebra ones in my backyard, and it is just out of control right now. I do cut it down completely in the fall.

Re: Sea grass
you can cut it down to ground level in the fall or you can let the reeds vrown & leave them & cut it in the early spring. I've done it both ways. For some reason my zebra grasses are starting to flop over now. After the storm I'm going to try to get them to stand back up.

We cut ours down after winter, early spring. My zebra grass is out of control as well!

Re: Sea grass
Thanks for the answers, but I want to know about how to trim it now, for the rest of the summer season so people can actually walk past it, and so that my BBQ doesn't set it on fire!

Re: Sea grass
You could trim it any way you'd like for now- it won't affect the way it grows back next year.
