Sealing granite
I just sealed my granite countertops. Is there a time limit as to when I can put appliances and other items on the granite after sealing it? Nothing I read seems to indicate that you can't touch granite after wiping away the sealer but I want to make sure....
TIA

Re: Sealing granite
Over the counter granite sealers normally take 24 hours to cure

I used 511 Impregnator Sealer. We got it at Home Depot. To prep the granite, I just cleaned it with a granite cleaner first. And I plan on sealing it every 6 months. We bought it in September and I think the installers sealed it then. So we were due for another seal.
