I spent almost $300. But I got roped into it. You def don't have to spend that much. I am going to spend a lot less the 2nd time around.

Re: Sears portraits

I am going to take DD there in July for her three month pics. They have coupons on their website, which seem to be a good deal if you go with just the sheets.

Re: Sears portraits

We took Emily there for this past year's Christmas photos and I was SOOOO happy with them. We had 3 tries at 1-year photos just a few months earlier at Target and weren't happy with any of those 3 photo shoots. At Sears, the minute we walked into the room, and set Emily up, she started snapping great shots.

One of the things that I liked about it (and we went to the one in Hicksville) is that she wasn't up on a "stage" type thing. They set it up right on the floor and the photographer is right there on the floor too. I think it helped to make her feel more comfortable at a tricky age.

They also have a TON more backgrounds then you'd even know. If you just ask, they'll show you more.

One tip to save on the money (we spent abut $250 but also ordered 100 christmas photo cards and LOTS of photos because we gave them out with the christmas gifts) is to get a $2.99 sheet coupon. They have them in onestepahead.com catalogs. Normally sheets are much more then that, and this way you can just buy individual sheets instead of a package.

I am going to try and post the pics we had. I will post all of them, and we picked about 4 of these to get printed up.

I have a coupon for the 2.99 photo sheets...what exactly is a photo sheet?

You have to buy 6 at regular price (7.99 each) to get the other ones for 2.99

Not a bad deal, I guess Chat Icon

a sheet is any combination of photos that they have on an 8X10 sheet...so it could be an 8X10, 2 5X7s, 4 3X5s, or a bunch of wallets! So if you figure that you have to spend under $50 to get the coupon price, it still isn't a lot of money. you can easily get out of there for under $100 which I think is a GREAT price!

I took my kids a couple of weeks ago. I was happy overall. However, the one in Hicksville is understaffed and it took me a long time to get my pictures picked and get out of there because there was only 1 woman working! There are a few samples in my profile from the latest shoot.
