Season Premiere's - What did we think?

Wife Swap
The Class
How I Met Your Mother
Two and a Half Men
New Adventures of Old Christine
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
SuperNanny

I watched the Class, How I Met Your Mother and Studio 60. I thought the Class was OK ... not sure if it has staying power or if the jokes will get old quickly. I thought HIMYM was excellent. I love that show - so glad it's back.

Studio 60 was good, although I think Amanda Peet is a bad bad actress. I heart Bradley Whitford Chat Icon .

I liked HIMYM.

I agree- but I didn't see 2 1/2 men. The class was ehhh... and I like the actress who played the more goth, angry sister from Related and Mean Girls. But I won't be watching again.

Studio 60... I DVR'd and have to watch.

CSI Miami was good.

Re: Season Premiere's - What did we think?

I was not a big fan of Studio 60. I was more interested in The Class - which I didn't think would happen. HIMYM was good though, as was 2 1/2 Men.

Re: Season Premiere's - What did we think?

I was dissapointed with Studio 60.

Im a smart girl, but i was confused. If Amanda Peet's character is the president of the network, how come the guy from wings can fire her???

Re: Season Premiere's - What did we think?

Anyone looking forward to anything tonight?

8:00 p.m.
Dancing with the Stars (already in season, show 2)

NCIS: With Gibbs retired to Mexico, Tony's in charge, and he has his hands full in the fourth-season opener when Ziva witnesses a political assassination and the FBI believes she's the killer. While the team searches for Ziva, who's on the run, she seeks out the one person she knows can help her.

House: A noted 71-year-old cancer researcher (Joel Grey) collapses in his lab. The problem could be with his heart or his lungs; House and his staff don't know. But the researcher knows that he doesn't want them to find out. He just wants to die. Meanwhile, House is using his cane again, but that doesn't stop him from noticing that a clinic patient's very fetching 17-year-old daughter is taking an unusual interest in him.

9:00 p.m.
The Unit: The second season begins with the Unit in Pakistan, where Jonas learns that terrorists are planning a biological attack by spreading a deadly disease via airline passengers. Back at home, Mack and Tiffy prepare to leave the base for reassignment, but she begins to feel conflicted when one of her former students, who is apparently being physically abused at home, comes to her for help.

Standoff: An international crime-syndicate kingpin's 10-year-old daughter is kidnapped, and he doesn't appreciate the CNU's involvement in the case. Nor does the FBI agent who has been wiretapping the guy. Meanwhile, Emily's just a bit jealous of Matt's history with Cheryl.

L&O: Criminal Intent: Season 6 begins with Eric Bogosian joining the cast as Capt. Danny Ross, who closely oversees Goren and Eames as they hunt for a possible serial killer. This difficult and harrowing case brings Goren back in touch with his old mentor (John Glover), a profiler, and his mentor's daughter (Martha Plimpton).

10:00 p.m.
Boston Legal: Michael J. Fox returns in the third-season premiere as the terminally ill Daniel Post, who needs Denise and Shirley's help after running afoul of the law. Meanwhile, Alan defends Jerry after his driving habits lead to trouble.

Smith: Debut: Criminal mastermind Bobby Stevens (Ray Liotta) plots high-stakes heists across the U.S., but the FBI is determined to bring him down. In the opener, Bobby and his crew plan to steal several paintings from a Pittsburgh museum, but their scheme quickly turns deadly when they are confronted by an armed security guard. Back at home, Bobby's wife (Virginia Madsen) becomes suspicious about her husband's most recent “business” trip.

L&O: Special Victims Unit: In the eighth-season opener, a young woman (Kristen Bush) refuses to cooperate during Benson's investigation of her brutal attack and rape, which seems to be connected to her involvement with a radical environmental group. Marcia Gay Harden reprises her role as FBI agent Star Morrison.

I really liked Studio 60, and thought Amanda Peet was pretty good (good enough that I think she'll be nominated for an emmy-if Patricia Arquette could win, anything's possible).
I thought The Class was just OK. If there's nothing else on, I guess I'll watch, but so far I thought it wasn't anything special.
