Second time around Moms
Does DH go to doctor appts with you? The first time around he was at everything...now he has been to one. Mostly I need him to stay home and watch Kerri.

The first pregnancy he did, but I think this time it will be a little different. I'd like him to be at the sonograms but he works about an hour away and I work pretty close to my OB.

I'm a third time around mom, but DH has only come with me to the Level II sono this time and last. Even the first time he just went to a few sonos, not every appointment or anything.

DH came to every single appointment last time, except for a blood pressure check that wasn't scheduled (and he was away on a business trip).
This time he came to the first two, and has been at my 3 sonograms.
Things are a lot different this time around. My Mom or MIL watches DD when I go, but DH has a new job and isn't working out of the house anymore. He worked out of the house when I was preggo with DD, so he could take more liberties.

He went to the big ones - sonos - and the ones toward the ends. Otherwise, he needed to stay at home.

This is my third pregancy and he has been to every one for all my pregnancies. He works from home though so that makes it easier.

with #1, he came to sono appts.
this time, hasnt made it to one appt yet- and i am 13 weeks, already had 4 sonos (6,9, 12 and a bleeding scare). BUt- he is doing a residency now, cant take off time. i dont expect him too.

Well for the most part no - I have to take Kaitlyn to appts with me. He comes to any appt that has a sonogram (unfortunately he missed the first one b.c he was sick). Otherwise there is no reason for him to come to a regular quick visit.

Yes, hes only missed one b/c dd was too crankie to go too. He was very upset he missed that one.. b/c I had a sono that day. Its difficult at times b/c we go on days DH is off, but I work those days so its at night.. so dd isnt the happiest of toddlers to be there. Im dreading my next appointment.. its at 7pm.. Hopefully he gets her to nap that day.

With DS- DH went to every appointment...
This time around, he came to the 1st apt, and both sonos. To be honest, its easier for me to schedule my appointments on my lunch break (when DS is at school) vs. around DH's work schedule...
I have a doppler so he hears the heartbeast everynight, and Im sure to schedule the big appointments (sonos and test) at a time he will be able to make it.

My Dh came wo every single appointment witht he first....I don't think he will be joining me with this one. My Dr moved to Great Neck and we live in Queens, so its easier to go straight from work.

So far he has only missed one and he hated that. But he works nights and I do try to schedule appts around his schedule.

No, not every appointment. But the big ones he goes to. When they are just doing routine blood/weight stuff I tell him to not worry about it.
