I had the same problem because my couches were on hardwood floors. I got small bathroom rugs and stuck them under the legs. Now they don't move and you can't see the rug.

interesting, thank you- I might have to try that- my couch is on a hardwood floor also- that could be part of the problem

(and the fact that my DH just flops down on the couch - with all 265 lbs of himself)

Re: Sectional couch issues

Are you sure the floor is leveled?

If not you got get those felt pads (it comes in different sizes) that you can peel/stick to put under the feet.

oh man! Chat Icon now you're making me nervous- LOL we have a sectional now, but its on carpet nad we don't have a problem with it. BUT we're moving to a new house this summer that has hardwood in the living room, so now i wonder if that will make it slide apart.... i would think area rugs or peices of felt would work well though.... LOL i'll let ya know what we come up with! Chat Icon

Re: Sectional couch issues

On the sectional I have from C&B, you can get these clips put on that basically hook the pieces of the sectional together. I wonder if you could get those for your sectional?

Re: Sectional couch issues

You could buy a cheap non-stick rug pad and then cut it up to put under the legs....it won't move after that.
