Self-tanning cream rave! Jergens Express Glow!!!
I am the palest person in the world. I had given up on being tan b/c well...I don't tan...I burn. I had also given up on tanning creams b/c I hate the smell, they always streak and they end up looking terrible.
Well, I saw my best friend last weekend and she is usually quite white too, but she looked very tan to me. She told me she was using Jergens Express Glow from the drug store. I was skeptical b/c I have used the regular Jergens Glow before and hated it Well, this stuff is wayyyyyyy different. Does not have an offensive smell and is very natural looking! I finally have some color!!
Just wanted to share my find with the rest of you whities

I bought it today on my trip to rite aid
Does it look okay after the first application or only look right after a few?
I'm going away so I will probably only get to do one application tonight and then won't have time to while I'm gone.. is it a bad idea?

I just bought it this evening.
Silly questions - if I put it on and go to the beach the next day and I put on suntan lotion, will it ruin anything? What about getting a pedicure? Will it wash off? How often should I apply it???
(I apologize for the obvious stupidity - I've never used a self-tanning lotion before  )

I did not notice much of a difference until about the 3rd application....it's really a daily moisturizer so you can use it every day so you shouldn't have to miss a day.

No, putting on suntan lotion will not ruin anything. I got a pedicure after about the 3rd application and it didn't effect it at all. It doesn't wash off, but you do have to apply it at least once every 2 days to get the desired color.
Also...I am very white but my friend told me to get the "for medium skin tones" bottle and I did...I'm not sure the fair skin tones bottle would have done anything...even for me.

Ok stupid question....lol but, how do you the lotion even on your back? I always had this problem with self tanners and stopped using them cause it was so annoying trying to cover my whole back with out help. If its a lotion and you use it everyday wouldn't it be hard to cover every part of your body, or do u have to really take the time and make sure you get every spot.....

This is my problem with self tanners aswell. That and needing to stand around naked until it is dry. I don't have that kind of time with the kids.
