selfish people
how do you deal with selfish people? i mean those that sonstantly talk about themselves and what they have or what they should have.....
i try to ignore them, but when its family and it becomes a persoal attack, there is nothing i can do.

i deal with it head on if i feel personally attacked or if it became too much. You can't walk on eggshells and cannot allow someone to affect our life in a negative way!
Ignoring it allows it to continue!

i agree with about ignoring it when its random people at work, and its hard to ignore family. when i try to deal with it, it gets turned around on me....oy, i hate it

I throw punches or digs...
For example (stupid example, but hopefully you get what I mean), if someone goes on and on about the outfit they are wearing, etc and makes me feel like I should like it as well..I just say, "ummm, it's nice, but really not my style or taste."

There will always be people like that in the world and I am a big believer in Karma and what goes around comes around. Thinking about how its going to come back to bite them in the arse always makes me feel better

thanks - its my mom - oy, she drives me nuts!! she gets stuck on something and can't get over it no matter what. them tells me that i don't have to apologize to her.

I am slowly trying to distance myself from people like that. I have no room for them in my life and have dealt with too many people like that throughout the years.
The jabs are always fun too like Jozie stated!!

word on the jabs at people!! and trust me she is not always like this, but shes fighting with my dad about something and decided that she had a proble with something i was doing.....so its not just selfish, its very, oh, whats the word, umm, oh yeah, STUPID!!!
