Re: selling brand new bikes
Have you tried Craigslist? Also, why would you sell them for what you paid for them? People aren't going to want to buy a used bike for the same price as a brand new one from the store.

Honestly, I was thinking the same thing. What is the incentive to buy used when you could buy them at the store for the same price?

Re: selling brand new bikes
I have to agree with the other posters.
You might want to change your title and price.
Brand new means in the box, never opened or riden on. You used the bikes. So you probably could say "like new".
You might have to reduce your price too. I personally would never buy a bike that someone used even just 1 time for the same price I can get it in the store never used at all.

Re: selling brand new bikes
no one is going to buy a used bike (even if its just once) at the new price, or as the season is nearing colder weather. I would post this on craigslist and lower your price.

right - but no offense, if someone else azz was in that seat and I can buy a brand new one for the same price, I would go get a brand new one.
You might have a better chance even lowering each bike by $5 and putting it on craigslist.
Good Luck to you

Re: selling brand new bikes
Honestly they are not brand new b/c you did ride them once. If I was you I would lower the price a bit on each bike!

Good point!
If you buy a bike in a bike store, though, other people may have ridden them. The store I got mine from allows test rides in the parking lot.
I agree selling at the store bought price may be difficult, but $80 is pretty cheap for a bike. You must have gotten a good deal at the store.
If you sell it on craiglist, and don't mention that your prcie was asking price, people might see it as a great deal. You may also want to add details, like the brand, and sizes.
Or just keep them & ride them now! It's great bike riding weather. The summer is too hot & I don't blame you for only going once!
Either way, good luck!
