Selling FSBO

Why did you decide to do FSBO? I would like to sell my house in Queens (Forest Hills) this way. I have done some research and think that I would not have much difficulty selling my house (or so I think). How long did it take for you to sell? I would like to put my house up for sale in July. Please tell me your pros/cons.

Sorry if this is a repost. I searched and found info related to selling condo's. I'm looking for more specific info from those who have sold their house.

I sold FSBO to avoid paying a hefty realtor commission. Thats about the only PRO to it.

I also don't mind the process... showing the place... dealing with the paperwork... etc.

IMO this is how you educate yourself.
