Selling my white couches....Updated - SOLD! yay!

I loved the room also- but I could never have white- Jake is way to messy
we have a reddish brownish leather sofa with the nail heads- it would look great with you other furniture and wall color

lol b/c mike is a piggy- white is just too hard to keep clean when you have a man in the house like my husband- who manages to stain the chairs even when we drape sheets over it.
i was going for the look over the useful ness. The couches would be better in a sitting room, not the room we use most, kwim?

Trust me I know what you mean Gary is the same way. Very messy at times. I really loved the way you decorated that room and the colors were just perfect.

Bj's has an awesome set in store - Brownish red leather Couch, Love seat and Chair for $1000.
My friend and also my sister in law bought the set. Very nice. Great quality and great price.

thanks- I have to admitt it was Jake's idea
it has the nailhead on the arms- it isn't bad for a leather sectional- we have a huge living room- so I needed something to fill it
when we move it will become our TV room furniture- it's very comfy and not too bachlor pad- which some leather can be
but if you spill something- nothing happens- which is the best part-

I have to say, I was looking at your pics the other day - my living room is almost the same shade of yellow - and I thought they looked so nice, I wonder if DH and I could pull that off.. and the sad truth is no way!! Between DH and my BIL - I'd have to make them sit on the floor in order to keep it clean.
Sorry it didn't work out for you though.

Your LR is stunning with the white couches, but I can understand your concerns.
You posted those slipcover couches yesterday - would you consider getting slipcovers made for the set you have now? I'm sure they have hardly been used and it would be a shame to lose money on them.

I love the look of the white couches. It looks so crisp and clean. When I first saw your pictures, I thought "Wow, they must be super neat people b/c I could never have white furniture". I was so envious!!!
Of course I can totally understand why you want to get different furniture. I'm sure you can def. find something that matches the decor downstairs.

yeah - we have a white comforter - HUGE mistake
it is not worth the twitch you'll develop everytime you see your DH eat or lay all over it
