Selling old jewelry

I have a TON of old jewlery that I no longer wear, with really no sentimental value attached that I need to sell.

Anyone have any ideas where I could sell it and get a decent amount of money for it?

TIA!Chat Icon

Re: Selling old jewlery

A flea Market.

My mom was at one a few weeks ago and they told her that gold is at it's highest right now. So she is bringing in all her old jewelry.

Do you have it appraised first or just bring it in and hope for the best?

Good Old Gold in the same shopping center as BRU in Massapequa has a sign up that they buy gold jewelry.

No, I don't have it appraised. I was just hoping for a good amount.

Re: Selling old jewelry

I just recently sold mine through a jeweler who sells wholesale to businesses....they tend to give more than regular jewelers

I hear this one on Sirius all the time. I heard that if you use the offer code "Sirius" you get more money back.

Re: Selling old jewelry

I sold alot of jewelry from my ex's this summer on Craigslist. I even had a guy in Colorado write me, sent me a check and a fed ex envelope and bought a necklace just from my pictures. It was easy enough, I didn't have to do a thing. Chat Icon
