Selling stuff on Amazon or Ebay - poll
I have done a search, and it looks like more people sell on ebay. Is it easy? I have some textbooks to sell.
Has anyone sold stuff on Amazon?
If so, is amazon easier?
Im not computer savy and a little nervous

I haven't sold on EBay, but I am thinking about doing it to get rid of a few things.
I have sold books on Amazon. I do it more as a hobby, not to make serious money. For me, it is a good way to get rid of books I have already read, but if I can't sell a book for more than $4-5, I don't bother. Amazon takes a dollar off the price, and then another %age of the selling price (I think it is 10-15%). so, you have to consider that when you price the item.
Basically, what I do is look to see what the lowest price listed for the book is, and how many copies are available. I made most of my money selling used textbooks and test prep books for a specific subject area. The books for my major were not widely available and were very expensive, so I was able to make a lot off of those. I find if you have a new-ish book, and the masses haven't read it yet, you can sell. But eventually, everyone has it and they are listed at less than a dollar. I don't even bother with those, I just donate them.
The thing I like about Amazon is that I know for sure what the book will sell for, since I am setting the price.

I've sold textbooks, video games, and DVDs on amazon. I signed onto half.com but haven't sold anything there yet. I'm just used to amazon!

I have sold on both.
My text books got me more money on Amazon each time.
I would use amazon for text books now only.
