Nancy get the info from your GYN --it depends on what lab they use. Probably will be Quest Diagnostics. There are a few of them on LI.

Did you call Quest?
Liek I said to you, only the syosset office does it, but the last time I checled was over 8 months ago so they may offer another one now.
Also , you have to check with your insurance, you will end up paying for it you go to a hospital or somewhere they dont accept.

I am not sure if your dh and you share the same insurance. My dh and I do not. (we are trying to make sure we have the most coverage for fertility treatments).
If your dh's insurance is different than yours, the semen analysis has to go through his insurance.

we both work for the city so we have the same insurance but seperately. i was hoping that there was more than one lab on Long island besides quest.

there is....usually your OBGYN will tell you where to go.
Who wrote you the prescription for it? Call them and ask them where to go...

If you have the coverage I would go to NSUH lab. I believe that REs do a more specific (or different method) of SA. They have a website you can check out. I think it is www.562baby.com
