Semi-permanent hair color

I've only ever dyed my hair with permanment hair dyes, but I kinda want something that washes out, since im only looking for a color kick.

I have JHS.

So how does it work? Does it last long? damage hair etc?

I do semi-permanent color. My hairdresser said I dont have any grays to cover up so semi-permanent is fine. I get it done every 3 months and it is very gentle on my hair. My hair actually looks so much healthier after I color it. The application process is the same as permanent.

So does it wash out after 3 months? or you motice the new growth like with reg perm haircolor?

Its hard to tell b/c my hair is naturally medium-dark brown and I color it a richer brown color. I would say a combination of each. It doesnt totally wash out but im sure some of it does. To be honest I couldnt tell the difference from when I used the permanent and semi permanent,
