Yay! Tax cuts for the wealthy! Less benefits and higher costs/deductablies for middle and low income!
Good job, GOP

Senate's health
Good gracious, what did anyone think was going to happen??? So many people who voted for Trump didn't even realize they were on Obamacare because it was called ACA and now they're screwed!

Phasing out Medicaid expansion, defunding Planned Parenthood for a year, smaller subsidies but based on income rather than age, repeal of ACA taxes, no individual mandate, state waivers for essential health benefits.
So fewer people will get less help for less coverage. No individual mandate will lead to less of the healthy people buying insurance which makes things more expensive for those who do buy. Big tax break for the wealthiest people. That's my take so far.

what about the whole precondition thing?
What does this mean for people who get insurance through work? (Only ask cause even with the current one I havent seen muh change except are costs are more and I am no 100% convince its because of the ACA because I am sure it will not go down in price even if they got rid of the whole thing)
if anyone has a link that describes it better then me having to read the above one . Its not really an easy read ... I would appreciate it.

Everybody is still reading the "plan", so there hasn't been much time to get a lot of easy-to-read charts and comparisons yet, but here's something I found:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2017/politics/obamacare-senate-bill-compare/?utm_term=.6d58213de16e
Here's another overview: https://www.thebalance.com/how-could-trump-change-health-care-in-america-4111422
Hopefully in the next couple of days (because that's all that we have before McConnell wants to vote on it), there will be more comprehensive analysis of what's in it....

Insurance won't be mandated to cover certain things and only certain preexisting conditions will be kept. So for the sake of saving a few bucks your job can offer you a slightly lower plan but less coverage.
