sending meals to a friend???
Is there a company/website or something along those lines where I can send pre-made meals to a friend with a family so she can just basically heat up and serve. Or is it just better to prepare some meals my self and drop them off???? I hope this makes sense. thank you

Re: sending meals to a friend???
When my mom passed away, a lot of people sent us food. They sent us heros, trays of cold cuts, salads, etc. from any of the local stores by our house.

Re: sending meals to a friend???
some chain restaurants send complete meals, or there's always deli's that deli, along with pizza/pasta places. I know when my grandfather was sick someone sent us food from Ben's Deli, it was a cold cut platter, breads, fried chicken, goulash, soup, a bunch of stuff...

That is a good idea but i wanted a couple of meals so she could freeze them and just pull them out to reheat for a few days maybe even like a weeks worth
I also thought of cold cuts ect....but i really wanted to send hot dinner type meals
thanks for the suggestion

You could always order from Omaha Steaks or Harry and David - they have some hams and steaks.

I was going to suggest Omaha Steaks as well. They have some great frozen stuff!

If they live in the city you can use Fresh Direct. They have great pre-made dinners.
