Sephora VIB Rouge Reception

I got the invite for the Sephora VIB Rouge Reception and RSVP'd for Sunday Morning. Is anyone else going? Anyone ever been to one before? It says that you get a Cosmetic Bag with a bunch of samples with any purchase but wondering if they have special sales or what else is so great about it?

I don't think they're doing a sale with this one. The email I got only mentioned the cosmetic bag, a special tote and 4x points on purchases. I went to one of the receptions in the past when they were doing a sale. It was nice to get first dibs on everything. They also had coffee and pastries and stuff.

The 4x points is very tempting, but I just bought a bunch of stuff b/c I was going to a wedding & runnign out of some things.

I am trying not to spend so much money there anymore, so I won't make rouge status again this year, but with 4x the points I might.

ETA- the points increase goes from 8/3-8/10, so I may not go to the actual event.
