Re: SEPT Mamas - check in!
Posted by shapla79 I guess my past issue with PTL is repeating itself! My little one is extremely active and doing well- it's just my body that's starting to give out
I've officially been ordered on modified bed rest and am no longer allowed to commute to the city for work. Now it's just a matter of seeing how long they're going to keep me in the hospital and hoping my contractions slow down.
I'm sorry - that stinks!! I hope they slow down quick so you can get home soon!!
I'm 31 weeks as of yesterday. Feels like it's going too fast - my head is spinning!!
Feeling pretty good still though so I shouldn't complain. Getting very tired and short of breath pretty easy and my back aches so much when I wake in the morning. But otherwise, not too bad.
Still need to schedule a hospital tour and decide if we want to do Lamaze - we're currently watching the Laugh & Learn DVD so I don't know if it'll be necessary.
I don't know when my shower is - must be soon- though due to certain circumstances I'm wondering if it may not be till August. I know the invites are out and I've seen a few more things come off the registry (I'm a terrible peeker!!)
I am excited to meet my little one, but SO SCARED of having to be in charge of a new little human being!!!

Re: SEPT Mamas - check in!
I'm due in Sept even though I'll be an August mommy but I'll post here anyway
Almost 33w and I'm just about DONE! Walked DS to McDonald's about 6 blocks away yesterday and I almost had to call someone to pick us up, the pain and pressure was so bad. Running after a rambunctious 17-month old, working 50+ hour work weeks and selling our co-op while buying a house isn't helping matters either.
They moved my due date from Sep 12 to Sep 2 (even though I know that's wrong) and, according to the growth sono I had last week, is still measuring almost a week ahead of the Sep 2nd date!! So, I'm not going to bother fighting with them anymore - apparently the baby is on target (DS was very big and 2 weeks early and totally health so it'll be fine) and this way I get out of being pregnant another 10 days
