Sept/October 09 Mommies...

How are your LO's sleeping? For the past week or so DS has finally been giving us 6hrs straight of consecutive sleep. We give him a bottle at around 8:30pm and he goes down around 9pm and doesnt wake up till 3am. He gets a bottle again and then goes back to sleep until around 6-6:30am. This is a HUGE improvement for us and i'm sooooo thankful to finally be getting some rest! Chat Icon

How's everyone else doing?

James has been going from about 9 until 5-ish. I'll give him a bottle and put him back down, and he'll sleep until about 9am.

He used to wake up at 3 and then at 6, but for the past 2 weeks or so, he's pushed the 3 until 5. We're loving it. He also goes *right* back to sleep when he's done with the bottle, so I get a few extra minuted to go back to sleep before I have to start getting ready for work at 6.

Joelle goes to sleep about 11 pm wants to eat at about 7 30 am, and then will usually go back to bed for an hour or two.
This morning she woke up at 9:30 after going down at midnight Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

This kid loves to sleep as much as I do. During the day just little cat naps.

Re: Sept/October 09 Mommies...

I am jealous. My DS is not a good sleeper at night. Only within the past few days has he gone longer than 2 hours sleeping without a bottle. Last night he ate around 10:30, woke up at 1:30 and than again at 6:00 for a bottle.

Ezra doesn't like to sleep as much as mommy Chat Icon He usually goes to bed around 10:30 or 11pm and goes anywhere from 4 hours to 7 hours. The 7 hour stretch happened 2x, the usual is closer to 4.5 or 5 hours Chat Icon the good news is that when he wakes up it usually is just to BF quickly and then back to bed. He gets up for the day anywhere from 8 to 10.

We usually put DS down around 10:30-11:00ish (though tonight he was so weird with his eating all day that he went into bed closer to 9:30, but not asleep till after 10:00) and he usually sleeps till about 8:00. He has been very good to us.Chat Icon

Re: Sept/October 09 Mommies...

Seamus is giving us 6-7 hours at night. He has been doing this since about 4 weeks. He goes down anywhere between 10 and 11 and wakes up around 430-600. It is so nice to get some solid sleep. He doesn't sleep much during the day unless we are out. He does cluster feed though from about 7pm-11pm

Re: Sept/October 09 Mommies...

My DD is 8 weeks old and a very good sleeper. She sleeps 6-8 hours a night, wakes up to eat and will sleep again for another 2-3. Lately she hasn't been napping for long stretches during the day.

DD is 12 weeks old and typically goes to bed around 9-10 pm and wakes up between 5:30-6:30 am. If she doesn't wake up by 5:45 am on the days I go to work, I have to wake her up to feed her. Otherwise, I'll never make it out the door or she'll be screaming of hunger in the car!

Re: Sept/October 09 Mommies...

My DS was born early Oct, he's 9 weeks. He's always given us 3-4 hours and gave us 3.5 -4 for weeks. We finally appear to be making some progress - he's going about 5 hours now. We had three 6 hour days in a row 3 weeks ago but it was a fluke bc it didn't happen again. Last night he went to sleep after 9 PM, woke up after 3 AM, then again around 7 AM and slept until 9:30.

What makes it hard is that we have to hold him up for 30 minutes after he eats bc of reflux so feedings take about 50 minutes (about 15 to eat and burp, 5 to diaper, and 30 holding him up).

Re: Sept/October 09 Mommies...

DD has been sleeping really well for the last few weeks (since she was about 6 weeks old) She gets a bottle at 9-9:30 goes to bed at 10:30 (some nights she goes right to sleep, other nights she stares at her mobile for a while and drifts off) and sleeps from anywhere from 6-7. We have an established bedtime routine that we follow every night...We're very lucky!

We're doing pretty much the same around here.

DD will nurse about 8:30/9 and then in the crib def by about 10:30...she'll sleep til about 3 or 4...then back up around 6, then up again around 8. She's been doing this pretty much since the beginning, so I'm trying to keep her in a rhythmic sleep pattern.

ETA - She's 7 weeks

Re: Sept/October 09 Mommies...

DD is 2 1/2 months. She goes to bed anywhere between 10pm-12am depending on the day (I am trying to get her down closer to 10 and ideally earlier than 10 but that has not happened)...she eats every 3 hours and usually gets up every 3 or 4 hours to eat..like tonight she ate at 11...she will probably wake up about 3am and have a bottle and then prob. wake up about 6ish. she usually wakes up between 6-7:30am and has a bottle and then goes back to sleep. She usually eats and sleeps all morning. She has been napping during the day too but shorter naps I notice. I would love for her to go to bed by 9 when I go back to work (1/4),

Re: Sept/October 09 Mommies...

DD was born on September 1st.

She was doing really good until we had Thanksgiving guests. She takes a bath every night at 7:30, has a bottle and is usally down by 8:30. She wouldn't wake up until 6:00am. Ever since we had LOUD guests, she has been getting up once anywhere between 2am and 4:30am. YES! I am bitter that they came and messed with our hard earned routine! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
