Series Finale THe Sheild
Is anyone excited that the finale is tonight. I can't wait to see it but at the same time I'm sad that it will be the last episode.

I can't believe its over!!
But super psyched to see the end.
IMO - this is/was one of the smartest television shows on tv. Great plots, great characters, great twists. Loved it.

dude - that ending was NO different than the sopranos! does he off himself? does tony get shot??? NO DIFFERENT...i like that they kinda closed up everything - but gave NO closure....

I think it was the best finale possible.
They gave closure on most of the major plot points. Vic leaving with that little smirk was awesome. It was telling us that he may be down but he isn't out. And it was giving us a glimpse of the Vic we know and love. AND - it leaves the door open for a reunion show.
I was so sad about (SPOILER ALERT)
Mara and Jackson... I was sad for Shane too - but his pregnant wife and kid???? I know it was his demented way of putting them first.. but it KILLED me. And I wish Ronnie had escaped to Mexico or something. I guess it had to be that his loyalty to Vic would be his downfall...
It was so good!

Dh and I thought the finale was excellent. As soon as Marah asked Shane to take her home, I had a feeling he would end it that way. then when he went to the store, bought a pad, pen, flowers and toy, that sealed the deal.
And at first I wasn't sure if Vic was going to kill himself also, but the little smirk at the end says absolutely not!
I am so sad it's over!
