seriously can't find pants that fit DS (he's skinny)
UGH! I cannot find pants for DS that don't fall down and I'm really starting to worry about what he is going to wear.
He is 2 1/2...about 25-26 pounds, and last time he was measured in the spring he was 33 inches.
The only pants that used to fit him were the carters....but now - like someone had mentioned recently - they have those ugly cuffs on teh bottom.
Anyone know what pants work for skinny, averagely tall kids?
ETA: AND he has to wear 100% cotton.

I'm there w/ you. DS is 16 months & 32 inches, 23 lbs. my skinny man. He's in 12 month pants & some of them I still have to roll over the top or they fall right down.

Your DS has the same measurements mine did at that age. At that size he should be about: Crazy 8 jeans and pants 18-24 months Gap Classic Fit Jeans 2T (I think it is now called First Original. You might also get away with skinny jeans but I don't love that look) jeans
jeans i like this more

Re: seriously can't find pants that fit DS (he's skinny)
DD just turned 3- she is 37 inches and 27 pounds. so yeah, i know about dressing skinny kids. you're going about this wrong- don't do carters, or pants with elastic waists. you need adjustable waist onlly. Gap, On, childrens place all make them. ON runs narrower than gap. if you want to do plain cotton, Tea collection runs pretty skinnny. but they're $$ seriosuly, adjustable waist. it will change your life.

Try Kohls too. They have pants with the adjustable waist. I just got DD jeans there. She's skinny too.

Re: seriously can't find pants that fit DS (he's skinny)
I can't remember how tall DS was measured at his last appt, but he is just as thin! I find the adjustable waist a big help. I just bought a pair of Levi's skinnys at Century 21 and I can't wait for him to wear them! Target's Cherokee have adjustable waists, children's place, and I think Osh Kosh. I also found that 24 months might not, but 2T do.

The adjustable waist also work well for DS and my DSS! They are awesome! With DSS I had to take 8 inches off of his little league uniform (which obviously don't have adj. waist ) so those button tabs really do cinch the pants!

Make sure the pants have an adjustable waist,

ITA...my string bean son can only wear pants that have the adjustable strip of elastic in the waist...and it is always on the last button...but they stay on!
I get them at gap, children's place, and sometimes carters...
otherwise for full elastic waist pants/shorts like basketball shorts usually folding over the waist once usually does the trick too!
Good luck
