Seriously? I am raising a yenta.
Or, is it that my yenta is modeling after her mommy yenta? 
Alex now calls me "sweetie". When we sit on the couch to watch TV, she tells me, "Sweetie, lay on my lap, it's sleepytime"
She makes me put my head down, she pats my hair, and says "Sleep sweetie" and then she pulls a blanket over me.
Then she'll get up, get a tissue, and wip my nose because she says I have a "boogie"
After about 10 minutes of sleepytime, it's dinner time, and she makes me some chicken (um, sweetie, we don't eat chicken, but ok, whatever!).
At least I know she'll make a pretty darn good mommy one day, right?

Your kid is too funny. I can however relate. I have two yentas (and I'm not even Jewish, but I did grow up in the 5 towns). Last night my 5 year old told me that I work very hard and should have daddy get me " a cup of coffee" and my book because I deserve a "relaxing night." I guess my yenta decided its better to delegate.
