Sesame / Touch Museum this weekend...

We had a great time, but it was rough on me - being PG and walking around in 95 degrees. Ryan had a blast for the first few hours, but then he got cranky too . We did the Touch Museum on Friday - that was great also...

Ohit looks like fun! Did you stay overnight or did you just do a day trip to Sesame?

We stayed overnight in Philly and did the Touch Museum on Friday/Sesame on Saturday. We were supposed to spend the entire weekend but we decided we covered it all by Saturday afternoon - no need to overnight the 2nd night.

I saw from the other Sesame Place post that your DS was 17 months. That is how old DS will be next year when we take him to Sesame Place.

Was your DS able to go on most of the rides at Sesame Place?

He probably could have - but he was done by noon honestly.

He woke up earlier than usually (6:30AM when he normally wakes at 7:30AM). We did the breakfast with Elmo at 9:15AM - he loved that. Then we hit Elmo's work and he went on a few rides (flying fish, carousel) and then did some open play stuff. We were all getting tired and cranky in the heat at that point - so we did the sprinklers. There probably was more for him - but it was too hot to push it. We went to go rest and get some food and the cafeteria was a mob scene. He had fallen asleep in his stroller at that point but there was no place cool for us to be that wasn't packed so we headed out.

Like I said, there was probably more to do - but we were done.

Looks like he had a great time.....where did you put your clothes when you went on the water rides? DH is going today and was wondering this.

BEAUTIFUL PICTURES!!! You look FANTASTIC, Ryan is too cute for words (especially in the picture with Burt) - and you should have BOTH kicked Ernie in the shins for giving a thumbs down to the Yanks! But what do you expect from Philly peeps, huh???

I went in my bathing suit and shorts and we brought a beach bag that we shoved in the basket under the stroller. We brought Ryan in regular clothes and changed him after the breakfast in the family bathroom in the breakfast dining room.

LOL @ Ernie. I'm not a Yankee fan either (which is obvious if you remember E's middle name).

It looks like it was a great time! We'll have to check it out next year. Elizabeth is OBSESSED with Elmo.
