Sesame Place at 2 years old?

DD loves Elmo and watching Sesame Street. She is usually intimidated by people in the costumes though.

I'm starting to plan a few little summer getaways and I am considering Sesame Place. Do you think it's to early to take her to Sesame Place? She'll be two in the end of August.

Are there any other places (within driving distance) you'd recommend?

She LOVED Sea World at 14 months and likes aquariums, animals, pony rides, little amusement rides. Loves swimming and splashing.

We're taking DD next month, she'll have JUST turned 2. If you go before they're 2, they're free to get in, so that's a bonus!!

My DD hates characters in costumes too, screamed at Mr. Met and cried, but I'm hoping she'll like it.

DD is two and we are going at the end of this month, so I'm hoping she likes it. I might rent a cabana near the new splash castle thing so we aren't fighting for chairs.

FYI, if you click on "events" on their website, they all kinds of kiddie concerts coming up (on weekends). They are free with admission.

Re: Sesame Place at 2 years old?

Last year DS was 20 months and LOVED SP! I took him there Monday and he actually didn't enjoy it as much as he did last year. So I think your DC is at the perfect age for it.

DD is 2 1/2 and we took her for the first time last summer and she LOVED it. We actually bought a season pass bc that's how much she loves it! The characters are in certain areas of the park so they won't be close to your DC if you don't want that. But you can also stand off to the side and look until DC gets more comfortable. Have fun!!
