Sesame Place 'Dine with me' experiences
Are they worth it? Or will we see enough of the characters throughout the day?

Re: Sesame Place 'Dine with me' experiences
We did the Breakfast with Elmo back on a Monday in June. It was not crowded at all and we got pics with every character there and they all came around to our table, saw with DD for a few minutes and she had a ball! It was worth it to us because of that. BUT...the food was horrendous. I literally only had coffee and yogurt..it was that bad. As for characters in the rest of the park, that day we only say Zoe a few times. We saw the Elmos World show but you cant get individual pics with him there. And the Abby show had Abby, Cookie, Grover and Rosita, but again you dont get individual pics with them. The parade also had all the characters. maybe on other days, there are more characters walking around, but like I said, that day we only saw Zoe available for individual pics besides the breakfast.

I think it was worth meeting the characters, they come over for photo ops and hug the kids they do a little dance.... the food is mediocre, but no one really cared, we had alot of fun.

Re: Sesame Place 'Dine with me' experiences
I think it's a good way to meet most of the characters so you don't have to go searching for them throughout the park. Some you'll see in the park, others you might not, and sometimes the lines are really long.
The food is not great - scrambled eggs, french toast sticks, etc for breakfast. Never been for lunch.... but the kids love it. The characters come around to all of the table except Elmo who sits on a stool and you can go up and take a professional pic, or one with your own camera. Then they have a little dance party and the kids can participate.

I agree..we did 1st reservation in morning so they let us in before park opened and didnt "waste" park hours time...and we figured it is least likely to "s c r e w up" breakfast foods compared to other meals!!
We really didnt see any characters as good as we did for the breakfast!!

It is DS's favorite part. We did lunch and the food is kind of gross. Some is good. The characters interact with each table.

Re: Sesame Place 'Dine with me' experiences
We were there Tuesday. We did Breakfast with Elmo with the 9:15 seating.
IMO although the food was blah, DS had an awesome time! When we first got there the characters were planted around the room. It wasn't crowded at all and DS got to visit each one in their location.
Then we sat down to eat and the characters made their way to each table. Each character spent a few minutes at the table before moving on.
The only other time we saw the characters was at the 1pm parade.
