Sesame Street Live at Nassau...if your LO is under 2, do you still have to buy a ticket for them?
We are planning to take LO to Sesame Live - Cant Stop Singing at Nassau Coliseum. My son is 21 months old. I was about to purchase these tickets on stub hub or ticketmaster but wasn't sure.
Do we need to buy a ticket for LO or can he just sit on our laps? I dont think he would be able to see on his own in his seat. =(

You dont have to buy a ticket but they dont get a seat then. They can sit on your lap. If you want them to have a seat then you have to buy a tickets. 2 y/o is there cut off.

This was all I could find since ticketmaster didn't seem to specify.

You mean NC's cutoff? Is there anywhere you are reading this? B/c we have been to a lot of shows (not just NC, some at Westbury Music Fair) and it seems every show is different in terms of age required for a ticket.

Re: Sesame Street Live at Nassau...if your LO is under 2, do you still have to buy a ticket for them?
I just found this on NCs website...
Age Policy For most events, children that have not yet celebrated their 2nd birthday do not require a ticket to enter the Nassau Coliseum. The child must sit on an adult's lap during the event without obstructing the view of any other guests. Please be advised that some family shows require children 1 year old and up to have a ticket for entry. For further information regarding age policy for specific events please call 516-794-9300 or check the Ticketmaster website.
However, the Sesame st website FAQ said one year old and up m ust have a ticket. So I wonder what the real deal is?

We took DS last year and I was told numerous times that he needed a ticket. He wasn't 2 yet. They never asked for one when we went in. We bought 3 and didn't need his!

For Sesame Street Live, you need a ticket for a one year old (under 12 months is free). Most other events under 2 is free on the lap.
