Seventh Generation cleaning products
As I finish up my non-green cleaning products, I am starting to shop for green ones...anyone use Seventh Generation? I bought the bathroom cleaner, but I'm not thrilled with the smell of it.

Re: Seventh Generation cleaning products
We use their tile cleaner and laundry detergent, and like them both. We also use their toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags. We like everything.
We do the same - as we run out of things, we look for a Method or 7th Gen alternative.

I like the Glass Cleaner from them. I tried the all purpose too which was good but I like the Glass one better - I didn't think the all purpose worked well on windows or the granite countertop, lots of streaks. I know what you mean about the smell with certain items. I tried the Method with the cucumber and the smell is nauseating.

Re: Seventh Generation cleaning products
We switched smells on laundry detergent too. I was getting allergic reactions in years past so we started with the unscented.
Then DH picked up Bergamot or something like that and I hated it. I forget which one we use now but it's ok.
The difference with the detergent is that you get so used to heavy scents that when you don't get one with the 7th Gen, you think there's something wrong with it. I just changed my mind about how my clothes smell. If they don't smell BAD, I'm happy.

I haven't used it yet, but I heard their dishwashing detergent isn't that great on it's own. People here mix it with other, stronger detergents or stopped using it altogether.

We use the dishwashing detergent and it works just fine for us. Most of the other products we use are Method.

Re: Seventh Generation cleaning products
I use the shower cleaner. It's the only one I've tried. I like that they tell you what the scent is very clearly. This one is green mandarin & leaf, it's not too bad.
The tub & tile cleaner is cypress & fir, which I don't think I'd like.

I got the cypress & fir, I don't like the smell at all, I'll have to try the others.
thanks!
