Severe back pain in early pregnancy
I am nearly 8 weeks and see the doctor next week. I had bad back pain and sciatica with my DD but it started much later than this.
Anyone else experience this? It shoots down the front of my leg below my knee so I am not sure if that is considered sciatica but it is killing me.
I can hardly pick up my DD.

I have it-I had preexisting back problems before pregnancy and this is totally not helping.
Do you have pre-existing back issues?

Not really - I did have some back pain with my first pregnancy and some back pain after delivery but this is just tough to deal with. Ahh the joys of pregnancy.

I have had pre existing back issues...i have muscles spasms in my lower back that are oh so painful!!...I am a little nervous to see how this pregnancy is going to affect it...

So sorry to hear this. I have had some back pain already too but it doesn't sound nearly like what you describe. Feel better
