SEVERE gut-wrenching O pain?! my long story of how i KNOW i'm officially 2ww

so here's my story:
on monday evening i was driving home from work when at 4:55pm (i looked at the clock i guess bc i remember it distinctly) i started feeling these sharp twinges and cramps. i thought to myself "hmm is this what O'ing feels like?" (i have never known when i ovulated, by feelings/symptoms BUT the night before i had ewcm, which ive also never experienced). now it was cd12 for me (when i got the ewcm) which is verryyy early for me to O (i don't have regular cycles - they go from 30-37 days, but my lp tends to be about 14 days, so i have O'd anywhere from cd16-23)... hope i'm not confusing anyone yet Chat Icon
so within a few minutes of these twinges, they became SEVERE lower abdominal cramps. to the point that when i got home, i was doubled over in pain trying to get into the house and went right to bed, shoes on, coat on and hysterical crying. dh came in and was trying to make light of it, make me laugh etc but i was just non-functioning - and i'm really not like that. i have a pretty high tolerance for pain and shrug most things off. he's never seen me like that. and i honestly don't think i have ever experienced such pain in my entire life. he thought my appendix was bursting and wanted me to go to the ER - i said if it didn't pass by 7pm i would go.
well 7:00 came and went and i was stubborn. i didn't want to go and have it be "nothing" - i just didn't want to sit in the er mostly. the pain started to subside for a bit, but then a 2nd wave came stronger than the 1st. i almost threw up 2x, was shaking uncontrollably from chills. this lasted until about 10pm - so 5 hours of this.
it subsided to the point that i could function but i was still in pain. i don't know why (maybe it was the ewcm the night before) but i just had this gut feeling and decided to test for O. sure enough, Chat Icon the night of cd13. so i went into dh and told him and was like, "we gotta do it". he just looked at me in horror - like "now?" i said yes, that i would deal with the pain, but i am not about to miss my O! he goes "this is going to be like a snuff film, you crying and in pain!" so we
the next morning, i wake up for work and just feel like i got my butt kicked. i had pain in my lower left abdomen and just felt sore/tender all over. just not right. i go to work and start telling a co-worker about the whole incident and he says that his wife went through an episode EXACTLY the same, and it turned out she had an ovarian cyst that ruptured. i never even thought of that, bc i've never suffered from cysts before. but, i give my gyn a call and start explaining what happened to the receptionist and immediately she thinks the same thing: cyst. so i make an appointment.
i go in last night and the dr obv has me explain what happened and does an exam. he said my abdomen felt a little tender but he didn't feel any cysts and everything on the exam appeared healthy and normal. sends me in for a sono... he, and the sono tech told me that if i had in fact ruptured a cyst, they would be able to see increased fluid or remnants of the cyst. well, she does the sono and my left ovary is perfectly fine (my uterus and lining also were good) and my right ovary doesn't have any cysts ON it, but there's just some teeny tiny eggs basically. the biggest egg, the sono tech said that going by size and how they grow, would not grow big enough to be ready to drop this cycle. so i told her how i got the positive opk the night before (and also that morning) and she said that more than likely, i O'd already and the egg dropped; bc she wouldn't be able to see that. but anyway, nothing appears "wrong" on the sono.
back in for a consult with the doctor who tells me: that pain was ovulation. i'm like no f*in way. i'd rather DIE than experience that once a month, in fact i thought i WAS going to die! so he explained to me that the eggs, are actually "follicular cysts" and when one is going to pass through the tube it basically has to smush its way down. approx 5% of the time, it can cause some bleeding in there and the fluid from the cyst (egg) smushing its way down and the blood that escapes into the uterus can cause a SEVERE amount of pain. i was just like ***, only me Chat Icon but actually the sono tech told me too, that she has had women come in swearing their appendix was bursting and it was just O'ing. he said that it's basically a fluke thing, and that the chances of it happening again to me are very slim. thank goodness. but seriously, i never in a million years would have thought the amount of pain that is about to send me to the er would be O pain?! who has ever heard of this or experienced this??? not that i'd wish it on anyone. he told me i'd prob feel this tender and soreness for about 5 days and he sent me on my way telling me my egg might still be hanging out so go dtd Chat Icon
so dh and i last night and again this morning... and now i consider myself officially in the 2ww and good lord, i think i deserve a bfp after this!!
