Sewing Classes
does anyone know where they offer sewing classes? I can make my way around patterns and do a pretty good job with the basic sewing machine I have, but I would love to learn more and be able to branch out a little. I'm on the south shore of Suffolk Cty.
Thanks!

Re: Sewing Classes
Look into your local librabry or school's adult ed programs. I noticed a few different kinds of classes offered at ours.

Thanks! I didn't even think of that! I only thought of stores like Jo-Ann's. I'll check that out.

Re: Sewing Classes
I would suggest calling the local sewing shops (one in Cold Spring Harbor (sentimental stitches), one in Sayville (pathchwork quilts), one in Massapequa (sewing bee??)) - if they don't have them there, they probably know of good ones
