Sex?

Anyone have any tips?!? I know- crazy board to be asking!! Lol the first 10 weeks I was on crinone and pelvic rest as per my fertility specialist. Then I had the SCH and earned myself another 3 weeks of pelvic rest. Since then, DH and I have tried numerous times in the last 4 weeks and I can't get comfortable, every position hurts, and it just down right hurts!!! Like I'm talking beyond virgin status hurts!! What gives?!? It feels like my pelvis is shrinking. Can you use lube when your pregnant? Anyone have any good positions?!? I'm desperate here! I only have a limited amount of time until my house becomes a mad house- I need some time with my husband while I can still get it!!!

Cant really help here cause I didnt have sex while pregnant. My dh and I were to nervous and paranoid something would happen LOL. But you can use lube water based only.

I remember with my first it hurt early on. Just due to changing hormones. Position didn't matter. It got better into the second trimester maybe around 18 weeks...

I wish I had the answer. I'm 30 weeks and for the past month it's been damn near impossible. I can't be on top because squatting like that is uncomfortable. He can't be on top because my belly is in the way. From behind is impossible because I'm then leaning on my stomach too much and I'm afraid it's going to hurt the baby. Soooo...we're basically at the point where no position is working for us.

I'm 18 weeks with my boys and I tried every position I know how and it just wasn't happening!!! awful! I feel like such a horrible wife even though DH has been amazing and so supportive I miss being intimate

You can use lube, and it absolutely helps. Changing hormones definitely make things a bit dryer than usual, especially in the first and second trimester.

I found missionary the most comfortable until I got bigger, and we had to take it really slowly at times. If it hurts or you're not feeling it don't force it. I found my sex drive came back with a vengeance later in the 2nd trimester.

I'm too big now for missionary. DH is either behind me or I'm on top. A lot of the times we just end getting each other off without actual sex because it can be uncomfortable. I find that I am way to sensitive once I get off so if DH doesn't finish it becomes extremely painful for me.

Ugh I never knew all this came with pregnancy!! I totally have a sex drive it just hurts like hell!!! I'm going to look for some lube today while I'm out and try that. I just feel like an incomfortable whale and cannot navigate myself around!!! Thanks for the advice everyone!!

We haven't done it that often because I was so sick but the one that hasn't hurt the most and the most "comfortable" was actually in the shower. I'm 25 weeks and while it's a little difficult to get into "position", it's the only one where I can breathe and doesn't hurt.
