Sex of baby at 12 wk Ultrascreen Ultrasound?
Was the doctor able to tell what the baby was at your Ultrascreen?
I just got back from mine..everything looks really good..it was really really thin...and I asked the doctor (dr not tech) if he could tell what the baby was and he already knew what the baby was!!!!!...he said not to go painting the room or anything but he was pretty sure.
Anyone else know that early? Was it confirmed at the Level II?

FROM PAST EXPERIENCE I DO KNOW THAT THE MACHINES AT THE RADIOLOGISTS OFFICE ARE A LOT CLEARER THAN THE ONE THE DOCTOR HAS..I THINK I WAS MORE FLOORED THAT WHEN I ASKED THE RADIOLOGIST HE ALREADY KNEW WHAT THE BABY WAS..I GUESS MAYBE HE HAD THAT PERFECT SHOT.

WOW!!! Did they tell you? Ours said there was no way to tell, even though the baby was showing all it could.

yup, I heard a few do find out that soon and then confirm the sex at 20wks.

I am not finding out the sex but the sono tech told me it was way too early when I asked if she knew and laughed at me. My friend was told the sex (a boy) at hers but it was wrong...at her level two she was told it was a girl not a boy.

I asked my doctor at the last visit about this and he said no, that the bean is still too small but I guess if they get a really good, clear shot... why not?

My doctor said something similiar, that usually they can't see the sex yet b/c the baby is still too small.
But she also told me if I made the ultrascreen appointment a little closer to 14 weeks, you have a better chance.
We had to wait til our anatomy scan anyway though.

i'm not sure either! but it's crazy to think that i COULD know something in just a few weeks!!!

My technician said she couldn't/woudln't tell me. but my friend got told she was havinga boy at 12 weeks.

we found out at 14 weeks and it was confirmed at 18 weeks with a sono and amnio
