Shady Furniture Store

I think the store is called Furniture To Go -- it's on Glen Cove Rd. near Roosevelt Field. Anyway, they advertised what looked to be a beautiful cherry wood bedroom set for $749. It seemed to good to be true but I went to see it regardless. They told me they had 50 sets.

Well....when I got there they had zero. In fact, they didn't have a single set that was anywhere close to $749.

How annoying!

Furniture stores are famous for that!!

yea, a LOT of Furniture stores (even reputable ones) do this. Its so annoying..

yup, bait and switch.

these stores should be more careful. there's a lot of competition out there and by doing this, they could end up shooting themselves in the foot. don't know about you, but if that happened to me, I would never set a foot in there again.

I was up and down that whole strip saturday looking for furniture -- It can be sooo frustrating

I know that store...my mother found gorgeous glass tables in there. I went online and looked for the company, Ashley Furniture, and we got it off a website sooo much cheaper than that store.
