Shampoo and Condictioner rec PLEASE

Ive been using Herbal Essence for a year now and i loved it but i need a change.

Im looking for something not to "perfumy" and doesnt lather up too much.

Also, it can be something from Ulta. Doesnt have to be a drug store brand

I like the Biolage line from Matrix. You can get it at CVS and a little bit goes a really long way and it definitely doesn't later up too too much...

I love Matrix Sleek when I am blowdrying my hair straight and Matix Curlife (or something like that) when I am going to wear my hair curly.

Goldwell products work well and definitely don't lather very much. You can purchase them at Ulta.

Re: Shampoo and Condictioner rec PLEASE

what kind of hair do you have? Is it color treated?

i have normal hair (no dry ends or anything), but i get very oily at the roots - I have to wash it everyday. I have no color treatment at all.

For everyday use, I like Amplify by Matrix (Biolage) Voluminizing shampoo/conditioner. I wait until Ulta has their Liter sale and get a liter of each Chat Icon

I also Clarify sometimes.... for that, I love Rusk Sensories Clarify. It has a slight minty/herbal/refreshing scent but it really only smells when you're using it - the scent doesn't stay in your hair. The 1L bottle is on sale at Ulta right now for $12.99. I use it twice a week in the summer....it really helps the oiliness and product buildup.

Mine is crazy curly, and I can't bring myself do the NO shampoo EVER thing .....

Pantene works well for me.
So does the Matrix line, and the L'Oreal professional line of products

If your hair is color-treated, I highly recommend Bed Head Dumb Blonde shampoo and reconstructing conditioner.

same here - doesn't lather much at all (the conditioner is ridiculously thick and like a hand moisturizer almost). I have the tea tree oil kind and even then the scent is light. Regular supermarkets sometimes carry this brand including King Kullen and Whole Foods.

I love Aveda shampoo (the madder root one for redheads).. then I use Herbal Essences conditioner. You might want to try Aveda conditioner though-- I just don't like it for my hair.
