Shamrock is sick- updated
Update - Shammy is doing a lot better today. He was playing this morning and acting his normal self. Shamrock says "Woof Woof Woof" Which means " Thank you for all your well wishes"
Sunday night he seemed like he was trying to cough up something like the way a cat does with a hairball. But it got worse over night. In the morning he wasnt doing it so we figured he got it up what ever he was trying to clear out of his through. When DH came home at lunch he call me to tell me that he seems to be getting worse. I left work and we brought him to the vet. He has a respiratory infection, swollen glands, sore throat, and a fever.
I feel so bad for him- he is not his puppy playful self. They gave him amoxicillin (sp) and a shot.
This is his first illness

Aw! Poor Shamrock! I hope he has a speedy recovery!!
Just an aside: My Sam came home from NSAL with an upper respratory infection and antibiotics... they did upset his tummy big time.... I was able to pop home at lunch every day to check on him, and had to clean out his crate each time.... so be careful (and prepared) that he may have uncontrollable accidents...

He seems to be ok with the antibiotics. I gave it to him last night and this morning along with food and seemed to be ok. I was worried about that also.
