Shana....
How are you doing today? Better I hope. We're having a terrible nap day today.

Re: Shana....
Thanks for thinking of us Jen!! I took your advice and let her sleep in the bed pretty much all night. She went for 3-4 hours of sleeping before waking up hungry (and packing a REALLY wet diaper). WE also did a nap in bed and she did 3 hours (or 2 1/2...the hours seem to just flow now and I can never remember what time she ate or when she went to sleep).
I'm still kind of down in the dumps and can cry at the drop of a hat. DH is going to feed her tonight (I hope) so I can try to sleep for an extended period of time. I've had a headache most of today.
We're going to try to relax with a DVD (Wedding Crashers--I need a good laugh) and I think I'll take another hot shower.

Re: Shana....
Glad you got some rest. Honestly for the first few weeks I say just do whatever it takes to sleep and keep your sanity right now. You have plenty of time to worry about schedules and her own bed. Please don't feel like I am "forcing" anything on you I just remember how hard it was for me and honestly its only these past couple weeks I feel like the cloud is starting to lift. You'll get lots of advice from lots of people (including me....LOL) but I always remember something my midwife told me after I deliver "You have to do what works for you, your baby, and your family. There are no rules to this." Enjoy the movie! Its a good laugh. I'm getting a night off too and going to a Moms Night Out.
