Shania Twain's First Official Wedding Pics
Shania Twain kicked off 2011 with a bang!
The 45-year-old country superstar tied the knot with Frederic Thiebaud, 40, on New Year's day in Puerto Rico.
"They were married at sunset in Rincon, Puerto Rico, in front of 40 of their closest family and friends," the singer's rep told UsMagazine.com Saturday. Twain's 9-year-old son, Eja, walked her down the aisle.
The singer bought her dress at a small boutique in Lausanne, Switzerland, which she paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Calvin Klein shoes.
Twain and Thiebaud enlisted photographer Robert Evans -- who also shot Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's wedding, as well as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' nuptials -- to capture their special day.
Us Weekly first broke the news of the singer's engagement in December. Thiebaud, a Nestle executive, quietly popped the question several months prior with a 3-carat, emerald-cut Lorraine Schwartz rock worth an estimated $100,000.
"I'm in love! Frederic has been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend," Twain gushed on her blog. "Over time, an amazing love has blossomed from this precious friendship."
The singer split from her husband of 14 years, Robert "Mutt" Lange, in May 2008 after he had an affair with her longtime pal (and Thiebaud's ex-wife) Marie Anne, who also managed the couple's chateau in Switzerland.

im OCD, yes i know this but... i HATE how their "whites" dont match. not even close. he is wearing white and she is wearing ivory 
makes my skin crawl

I'm happy that she's happy. Her ex gave me the heebie jeebies for some reason and then the whole cheating scandal came out.
I hope this guy is a good man and treats her and her son well.
It is pretty bizarre the relationship connection but if they're happy so be it.
