Share some morning sickness remedies please!
I have yet to vomit, and at this point I don't think I will. I am approaching 9 weeks and I have to go back to work next week. I have been nauseous since week 5, it sort of disappeared last week, and now this week it's worse then ever. I am nauseous ALL DAY, I feel like sh!t, I am so upset I don't know what to do.
I have been researching online and came up with a few things I didn't try. Ginger, fresh, or in capsule form Taking a Vitamin B-6 supplement
I am going to call my doctor tomorrow to see what they say. But I could REALLY use any other suggestions. I'm willing to try anything.
Thanks

Re: Share some morning sickness remedies please!
I completely understand your pain. It happened to me at week 5 and continued to week 14 (I am sure you wanted to hear that). I wanted to jump out of my skin. The sickness was there ALL day.
I wish I could give you some advice. They say ginger is good. I tried it, it helped a little.
See what your doctor says. Feel better

Re: Share some morning sickness remedies please!
water with lemon (enough lemon so you can taste it but not too much, you need your stomach lining) drink in small sips

Mint lifesavers (I think Spearmint? In the blue bag) were literally LIFESAVERS for me!!! I popped them all day long, but they made me feel soooo much better.
Good luck

I don't know from experience, but one of my girlfriends wore those sea sickness bracelets and she said that they helped.

Thanks, I have tried the lemon water, helps a little. Also, did the salty thing, didn't help.
I am going to try the lifesavers. I have also heard about the seaband, I think I'll go get one tomorrow.

This is EXACTLY what happened to me, but then I started (not to be gross) but PROFUSELY vomiting, and then to make matters worse, every now and then, it was both ways, if you catch my drift.. I called her a couple of days ago b/c my back and lower ligaments were too tight from throwing up all day... ICK!
The Dr. JUST gave me some ZofranODT, dissolvable tabs... I truly believe in miracles now... They taste like He!!, but whatever works, just chug something sweet afterwards, it gets the taste off your tounge! Good Luck!

Re: Share some morning sickness remedies please!
SpringBaby, I could have written your post nearly word for word!
I too am not throwing up, but every since I got my BFP(actually, even before I tested positive) I have been in a constant state of nauseousness. I only threw up once (sorry TMI) but that was mainly because I had a migraine .. otherwise, I just feel completely disgusting ... tired, wiped out, nauseous.. practically morning, noon and night .. even smelling certain foods can send me over the edge The weird part is that I can actually be hungry and nauseous at the same time.. but the minute I try to eat something, a few bites into it I have to throw it out for fear I WILL get sick
I HATE the taste of ginger so that doesn't work for me. And actually drinking water (plain or with lemon) makes me feel worse too. The only thing that works is carbs, carbs carbs - PLAIN bread, saltines, plain potates or rice.. it seems to just settle my tummy a bit.
I haven't yet found a remedy that makes me feel better, but I did read an article about the "Preggie Pops" and I ordered them.. they finally came last night, I was sucking on the Peppermint Pop and during the time I had it, I actually did feel a teeny bit better.. Its definitely not a cure all, but its a quick fix and maybe they'll help you too

Re: Share some morning sickness remedies please!
Rasberry Iced tea also worked for me.. They say Rasberry, peppermint, ginger and cinnamon are supposed to aide in the distraction of morning sickness.. and if any of these don't work, ask your Dr. about those pills I recommended!! GL!
