Share you toy storage - Need ideas
We have the three tiered thing with the bins, which is AWESOME for little toys.
We are looking for a larger storage system, maybe, shelving, cubbies, something with bins.
I dont really know, can you share your toy storage, Im at a loss as to where to put ALL the Xmas toys!

book case I've been thinking about this system too. I also just bought some little storage bins with covers that I could put on the shelves that I already have. It's only been 2 days but so far it seems to be helping to keep together toys that have pieces.

Re: Share you toy storage - Need ideas
My husband built giant wooden bins that line the right side of the playroom. They are about 3x3x3 and lined with canvas. I think we have 5 of them. Each contains a different 'type' of thing.. Costumes in one, vehicles in another, etc.. We have an armoire with all of their board games and a built in bookshelf for video games, dvds and stuff like that. They have these 3 drawer plastic units where they store smaller items - hand held games, tech decks, ziplocs filled with tiny parts to whatever, etc.. They also have a few drawers just FILLED with Lego pieces. And stuffed animals are piled in the back corner of the playroom.
Outdoor toys go in the outside bin and stay outside. We were keeping their bikes in the house.. but we moved them outside because it was getting to be a pain in the butt to move them in and out. Rob is building them a 'bike port' so the bikes don't get ruined by the elements - in the meantime we try to keep them under the deck.

I have this actually, but in the smaller size. Its half as many two across, four down. Ours is White.
I have it laying on its side. So its two up and four across so AJ can access it and I am less freaked about tipping.
And I got these to go inside KOMPLEMENT Also from Ikea. But mine are black with red 'handles'. They pop up so its not heavy and they are easy to clean.
Also got these too: LEKMAN
Also Ikea but in Pink. They are hard plastic. So its sturdier for stuff.
Ikea made my kiddo's room possible! LOL
You can kinda see them in this photo. This was before I moved and we had space to actually lay this thing on it's side.
