Sharp pain 34 weeks...this sucks
Ok I don't know what's going on...I'm 34 weeks and I've been having this weird sharp pain on the right side of my belly. I only feel it if I use my ab muscles or if I rub my belly in that spot. It feels like my skin is tearing it hurts so bad. Could it just be stretching? Or something else?

It sounds like round ligament pain..I have this on and off all the time and had it with my other two as well...hope you feel better soon!!

The pain is more in the middle of my belly, above my belly button to the right. Isnt round ligament pain in the groin or pelvic area?

Yes.
Maybe the baby is really pushing his/her foot/hand into that spot?
It may be worth mentioning to the OB, although, it's probably just stretching

Round ligament pain can be all over the belly area...there are many ligaments supporting the uterus all over the abdominal area..I get it all the time!

Round ligament pain can be all over the belly area...there are many ligaments supporting the uterus all over the abdominal area..I get it all the time!
I get this all the time too.

Ok thanks ladies, I didnt know that. I really only feel it badly at night after a long day so this makes sense. As of friday I am 1cm dialated and I have an appt this afternoon so we shall see.
