Sharp pains?

I just called in sick to work, because I have these sharp pains a little higher than my pelvic bone. I had this a few weeks ago on my left side, and my doc said probobly just ligaments strectching. I'm 16 1/2 weeks. I'm really nervous because of the placenta previa though. I didn't sleep well, so I decided to take off. Anybody else experience this?

I've been getting them on and off. My doctor said that as long as they come and go quickly then it is ok.

I had very painful round ligament pains... couple of times I had problems walking up the stairs or I would be doubled over from the pain and couldnt stand straight... sounds to me like what you have but I am not a doctor

i've had those type of pains the entire time bascially (since about 18 weeks) with this one. They are so bad. and the dr says there is nothing that can be done. Most of the time I can't get out of bed because I am in so much pain.

Okay, here's another question. They seem to really be concentrated on my left side. Were yours just on one side?
